What is the role of the translator/intercultural mediator?
The translator/intercultural mediator fosters the reciprocal understanding and communication between companies, businessmen, groups, organizations and services belonging to the Italian and Iranian cultures. His mission consists in the activity of linguistic translation (written and/or spoken), intermediation and cultural consultancy. Based on his deep knowledge of the Italian language and culture, the intercultural mediator has the duty of communication and relationship facilitator between different interlocutors.
What does the translator/intercultural mediator do?
• analysis of the customer's question: he identifies and evaluates the requirements of the assigned activity in order to define timings, costs and the way to accomplish the task • research for and gathering of inherent information and material
